Hello and welcome to our website,

We are a strong, supportive community of approximately 950 students (11-16) and around 100 staff. Together with the support of parents and governors, we are embracing every opportunity to further enhance the experiences we offer.

Our aim is for Kirkby Sports College to become the very best school possible, helping our students grow into successful, mature, responsible members of society. We will achieve this by nurturing natural talent, empowering the young people in our charge to develop skills and acquire essential knowledge, giving them an outstanding grounding for the competitive world of further education and employment.

This is a caring community. We form strong positive relationships, based on mutual respect and aim to know each child as an individual. As a parent myself, I know how important it is for children to be offered excellent opportunities at school, as well as the support and encouragement to take those opportunities. Alongside striving to provide the best possible teaching and learning experiences, we actively seek out opportunities to broaden horizons, developing enquiring minds and a balanced outlook, borne out of our core values of fairness, respect and high aspirations.
